Robert Tucker III

FORT VALLEY – Joel Robert Tucker, III, 57, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Eric Byrd will officiate. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the Mausoleum Chapel.

Mr. Tucker, a native of Macon, was preceded in death by his father, Joel Robert Tucker, Jr. and by his sister, Rhonda Lee Tucker. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran, was a welder with Elliott’s Machine Shop and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Tucker was an avid NASCAR fan and outdoorsman who loved to hunt.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret L. Tucker of Macon; his son, Jameson Tucker of Macon; sister, Reba (Joe) Stoker of Warner Robins; his companion, Shirley Kelly of Ft. Valley and several nieces and nephews.
