

Ronald James Willis, 69, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00pm at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, with Pastor Benjamin Newberry and Rev. Billy Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Union Chapel Evangelistic Church Cemetery on Marion Road. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Chapel Cemetery Fund, 5500 Marion Road, Macon, 31217 or Calvary Baptist Church, 5046 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, 31216. Mr. Willis was born on October 21, 1948 in Macon to the late James T. Willis and Mattie P. Jones. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Willis Fowler and Wanda Willis, and his cousin, Rev. Garry Willis. He graduated from Dudley Hughes High School and was retired from Waco Electric. Mr. Willis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, was a huge Georgia Bulldawg fan and he loved to fish.
Mr. Willis is survived by his brother, Ricky (Debbie) Willis; brother-in-law, Bill Fowler; brother, David (Sheila) Willis; six nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
