

Rosamond Lee Anderson White, 72, of Macon, went to her heavenly home on Friday, November 2nd, to be with her Lord and Savior. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Snow’s Pio Nono Chapel. The Rev. Garry Willis and Rev. Herbert Williams will officiate with entombment in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will meet friends from 7-9 PM, Tuesday, November 6th, at Snow’s Pio Nono Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5046 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, Georgia 31216 or to the American Cancer Society, Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, 804 Cherry St., Macon, Georgia 31201.
Mrs. White was born in Rome, and had lived in Macon most of her life. She was a graduate of A. L. Miller High School where she was a member of BOL Sorority. Mrs. White had been employed in the baking industry. She was also a Master Gardner. Mrs. White was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She enjoyed sharing her fruits and vegetables with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband: John M. White of Macon, 2 daughters and the husbands; Beth (Kevin) Murphy of Marietta and Tina Lynn (Eddie) Hairston of Lizella, 1 son; Danny White of Macon, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her mother Rosamond H. Anderson of Macon, and a sister; Joan Bunge of Milledgeville.
