To the Hopkins & Kelley Families,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences in the loss of Rose Anne. I will always remember her as a very kind and positive friend who welcomed many to her home. We always had lots of fun & laughter when my sisters and I would visit her and Roger.
The last time I talk with her was at the Wreaths Across America Ceremony at RoseHill and we reminisced of times with Roger at the lake.
As you walk through this broken road of grief just know that she was loved by many and lived life to the fullest.
Prayers will continue in the days set before you.
With love and blessings always,
Cheryl Hopkins Meadows

Rose Anne was my life-long “best” friend
whom l was privileged to know over the past six plus decades. We became fast friends in our Middle School years, growing up in the same hometown of Warner Robins, Ga. We graduated High
School together & went on to the University of Ga. where we became roommates our junior & senior years, graduating with our Bachelors degrees. We were avid football fans of the UGA Bulldogs, usually attending the home games on double dates with our escorts to cheer on our great team‼️ After our lives went on & we developed our careers after college, we continued our close, deeply shared friendship, allowing us to create a beautiful tapestry of memories we shared with our families, spouses, & children we were blessed with, bringing joyful events & adventures to share as they grew up!! We took many fun trips to points in southeastern states, including Florida’s beaches, & others in coastal states, for food, fun & especially seafood we loved! As Rosie was such a close, caring friend to me & others in that circle, she was ”there” for me, as l was too, for her, through sad times, (family deaths, sicknesses, & surgeries) & we gave support however we could. As such a loving, nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, & the best friend l could have ever been blessed to have…she gave her “all” to each special “bond” she had with loved ones. She was known & loved for her special southern cooking she delighted in preparing for family & friends @ the Lake Oconee home she & husband, Roger, built & lived in for decades as the children grew up. She is a great loss to her family & closest friends, but there’s comfort in knowing she’s “@ home” with our Savior & Lord Jesus, resting peacefully in Spirit in His Loving Presence🙏❣️ Her time here is over, but she will be greatly missed, but “Forever Loved, & remembered” until we all, who love Jesus, will be together with
Him, through Eternity🙏❤️‼️
With ❤️🙏’s, & Hope to the family

Our condolences to the Kelley/Hopkins families. The old "Green Street neighborhood" has lost another "kid". Larry passed last January, and Dennis a few years ago. Such great memories from all those growing-up years! Larry spoke often of and always enjoyed time at the lake with all of you. Prayers to you all.

What a special lady.  She opened her home up to me when I was attending Mercer and needed a place to stay.  I always felt like part of the family and most importantly I was always well fed.   Her sweet demeanor and southern hospitality will not be forgotten.
