Sarah E. Webb

Sarah Elizabeth Young Webb, 88, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at 2:30 PM at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville. A Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel with a visitation following. Father Allan McDonald will officiate.

Mrs. Webb was born in Wrightsville, Georgia and had lived in Middle Georgia for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a former employee of American Optical. Mrs. Webb was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an Extraordinary Communion Minister. She was the daughter of the late Mary Lizzie Parker Young and Dee Olin Young and the widow of Eugene F. Webb. Mrs. Webb was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Mrs. Webb is survived by her children, Mary Frances Marsh (Palmer) of Atlanta, Susan Pritchard (Steve) of Macon, Paul E. Webb of St. Augustine, Peggy E. Still (Julius) of Macon, Steve O. Webb (Ann) of Macon; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Young (Betty) of Wrightsville; sisters, Melvena Mitchell of Gordon and Henrietta Buck of Jupiter, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
