
Shirley Ann Hall Maddox, 67, passed away on Saturday at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 11 at 4 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Madison Street with the Reverend Dianne Sweckard. The family requests that donations be made to the Methodist Children’s Home, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, 31204 or the Ronald McDonald House, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon, 31201.
Shirley was born in Hahira, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Maddox and her parents, Agnes Ryle and Reverend Albert Lee Hall. Shirley attended Georgia State University and Wesleyan College. She was retired from Wilkinson County Board of Education as a teacher. Shirley was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Albert (Susan) Hall of Riverdale, Georgia; three nieces and one nephew; and loving friends, Ginger Jackson, Robert and Marsha Elliott, Benny and Ellen Alderman and Jerry Mittelhauser.
