Terry Hale Sams

Macon – Terry Hale Sams, 58, passed away November 29, 2009. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at Hartley Bridge Rd. Interment will follow in Jeffersonville City Cemetery. Rev. Paul Meadows will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at Snow’s Memorial Chapel Pio Nono Ave. Mr. Sams was born in Macon to the late Alton Sams and Lyda Beeland Sams. He was a self employed contractor, and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.Mr. Sams is survived by his wife Patsy Watson Sams; daughter, Dawn (Joe) DiVita; step-sons, Bryan Prince and Kyle (Lisa) Kitchens of Macon, step-daughter, Keri (Bryant) Stevens of Vienna; grandchildren, Jessica, Dane, Dara, Caroline, Carson, and Anna; brothers, Lynn Sams of Macon and Morgan Sams of Lizella; sister, Wilma Hensley of Lizella; special nephew, Dane Sams.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt.
