

MACON – Tommy McClellan, 69, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Northridge Baptist Church. Burial will be private for family only at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Rev. Bob Hamilton, Rev. Chuck Beaver and Rev. R. L. Brown will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Tuesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, and asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Northridge Baptist, Building Fund, 2360 Gray Highway, Macon 31211.
Mr. McClellan was born in Weed, California and was the son of the late William Henry McClellan and Mary Lee Peterson McClellan. He was retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service and then 18 years of service at the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Northridge Baptist Church.
Mr. McClellan is survived by his wife, Maxine Davis McClellan of Macon; children, Yvonne McClellan Price (Tim) of Gray, Christian McClellan (Snow) of Macon and Tracy McClellan Newby (Wallace) of Macon; grandchildren, Lindsey McClellan, Megan Moody, Caleb Newby, Claire Price, Taylor McClellan and Kinsley Newby; brothers, Bob McClellan, William McClellan, Terry McClellan and Joey Hall; sisters, Bonnie Wilkinson, Kathy Brake, Linda McClellan, Dell Sims and Debbie Kiolbassa; numerous nieces and nephews.
