

Alton Tony Smith, 64, joined his Eternal Family Reunion on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Calvary Community Chapel with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The Rev. Robert Webb and the Rev. William Van Dyke, Jr. will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.
Mr. Smith, son of the late Alton Henry and Wilma Music Smith, was born in Douglas, GA. He served with the U. S. Army receiving the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Smith was a retired electronic technician with the central office of A T & T and attended Calvary Community Chapel.
A beloved husband, father and brother, he is survived by the family he adored, his wife of forty-four years, Frances Paulette P. Smith; his children, Jay Smith, Brittany Smith and Amanda Smith; his brother, Tommy (Glenda) Smith and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
