LIZELLA - Verna Leroy Smith, 69, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at Coliseum Hospital. He was a loving father, husband and friend. He recently fulfilled one of his dreams by building his home in the country with his two fish ponds.
A service will be held at the home on Tuesday, August 31 at 2:00 PM, 5650 Sandy Point Rd., Lizella, GA 31052.
He is survived by his wife Brenda; his daughters, Melony Bagwell (Donny), Tammy Bartlebaugh (Jim), Kimberly Jones (David), three granddaughters and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his first wife ,Mary and his parents Guy and Alyne Smith. Verna Smith
