MACON - Victor Vaden Lord, Jr., 44, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Shands Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Willie Crosby and the Rev. Herschel Sizemore will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home and suggests that memorial contributions be made to the donor’s charity of choice or to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 4770 Sardis Church Road, Macon 31216.

Mr. Lord, son of the late Victor Vaden Lord, Sr., was a lifelong resident of Macon and a graduate of Southwest High School. He was the grandson of the late Mae and Albert Cravey and brother of the late Bobby Dean Lord. Mr. Lord was a carpenter and a member of First Christian Church of Centerville.

Survivors include his daughters, Brooklyn Georgia Lord of Macon and Ashton Harris of Byron; his mother and stepfather, Georgia and Thomas “Tommy” Craven of Macon.
