A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 830 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia, with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia with visitation following at 7:30 PM. Father John Johnson will officiate the services.
Vida was the daughter of the late Eva Rigdon Gentry and James Linwood Gentry. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Wesleyan College. Vida was a member of the Middle Georgia Art Association, a former Den Mother with the Cub Scouts, and was very active with the Museum of Arts and Sciences.
She is survived by her sons, Holst Clay Beall, III (Patricia) and James Linwood Gentry Beall (Ann); grandchildren, Logan Beall, Avery Beall, Riley Beall, Mason Beall, Joyce Evelyn Beall, Mary Lin Beall, and Joshua Beall; and nieces, Denise Beall Fritz (James) and Margaret Beall Cohen (Jeffery).
