A celebration of life for Mrs. Leonard will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, followed by a visitation. Burial will be private for family only at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Joe McDaniel will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
Mrs. Leonard was born in Jacksonville, Florida the daughter of the late Helen Thomas Reid and Ancel Hodges. She was a homemaker and a member of Mabel White Baptist Church. Grandma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mrs. Leonard is survived by her husband of 60 years, Claude Allen Leonard; children, Greg Leonard (Diane) of Gray and Lori Leonard Burnham (Wayne) of Athens; grandchildren, Evan Leonard, Erin Leonard Bryant (Hunter), Olivia Burnham, Neal Burnham, and Emma Burnham; brother, Mitchell Hodges of Jacksonville, FL; half-brothers, Warren Hodges and Wayne Hodges (Marie).
