

Macon, GA- Vivian Hall "Holli" Hamlin, 56, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with the Rev. Julie Long officiating. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Christ, 511 High Place, Macon GA 31201.
Holli, a lifelong resident of Macon, was preceded in death by her mother, Lucyle W. Hamlin in April and by her father, Jasper Howard "Doc" Hamlin in 1997. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Christ where for many years she was active in the Children's Ministry as a Sunday School Teacher, a Vacation Bible School Worker and as a Children's Church leader. Holli also assisted her mother, Lucyle, in the Tender, Loving Care Card Ministry in sending weekly cards and notes to shut-ins and those of the church who were in the hospitals.
Holli is survived by her brother, Donald (Nancy) Cornett of Macon.
