Vivian Fowler Todd, 90, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013 at the Monroe County Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in Riverside Cemetery, entering through the Madison Street gate. Dr. Wilfred Platt will officiate. The family will greet friends following the memorial service and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Georgia Chapter, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon 31201.
Mrs. Todd was born in LaCrosse, Washington on October 11, 1922, to Ralph Felix Fowler and Opal Rutledge Fowler. She grew up on a wheat ranch with four brothers and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert “Bud” Todd, of nearly 60 years. She was a loyal military wife who lived in many states and countries. Her passions and loves included gardening, cooking, bridge, painting, sewing, and researching her family tree.
She was a member of Wesleyan Drive Baptist Church. A faithful and committed servant of the Lord, Vivian loved singing the old hymns, studying the Bible and going to church.
Survivors include her son, Jerry W. Todd (Nancy) of Alachua, FL; daughter, JoAnn T. Caldwell (Larry) of Macon, GA; sister, Dorothy Moore Coupeville, WA; grandchildren, Scott Todd, Jason Todd, Molly Caldwell Tuite, and Mark Caldwell; nine great-grandchildren, Charles, Jared and Nathan Todd, Madelyn, Andrew, and Katelyn Todd, Jack, Henry, and Anna Claire Tuite.
