Wanda "Cookie" Ruth Pelt

Wanda Ruth “Cookie” Pelt, 65, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Frankie Sorrow officiating.

Wanda was born in Macon, GA to the late Silas Leon and Edna Schaffer Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Pelt; granddaughter, Whitley Ussery; and sisters, Ann Tollison, Shelby Barbee, and Nita Ballard. Wanda enjoyed fishing, cooking, planting flowers and watching Christmas movies. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her children, Tina Dixon (Daniel Andrews), Kristy (Kevin) Williams, Chip (Donna) Anderson, Donna Anderson and Terri (Jared) Cain; grandchildren, Heather Dixon, Kyle (Madison) Dixon, Mashay (Austin) Dixon, Caleb (Braiden) Williams, Seth Williams, and Madison Powell; three great grandchildren, T.J., Jacob, Oakley; sister, June Pettis; brother, Alfred (Beverly) Harper; and several nieces and nephews.

Cookie was a great childhood friend to me and we enjoyed fellowship at Westfield Baptist Church together during those days. Great memories! We will see each other again In Heaven.
