William P Tuten

Macon, GA – William “Billy” Preston Tuten, 72, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010. Funeral services are private for family only and will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eric Byrd officiating. Those who wish may make donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.

Mr. Tuten was born in Laurens, County to the late Willie Hoke Tuten. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Taylor Walker. Mr. Tuten was of the Methodist faith and had lived in Macon most of his life.

He is survived by his mother, Ora Lee Hinson Cannon of Macon, 2 sisters, Mary Ann Garrison of Gainesville, GA, and Debra C. (Earl) Molton of Clarksville, AR, brother, Darrell (Pamela) G. Cannon of Clarksville, AR, several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
