Corinne McCormack Gallagher, 85, a long time resident of Madison, CT and widow of Edward P. Gallagher, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2018 with family by her side. Corinne was born on June 16, 1933 in Bronx, NY. She is survived by her daughters, Sue Clifford (Patrick) of Madison, CT, Nancy Cunningham (John) of Guilford, CT, Patty Gallagher of Clinton, CT, Kathy Horner (Simon) of London, England, her son Richard Gallagher (Amy) of Madison, CT, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Corinne was predeceased by 3 children, daughters Barbara Gallagher and Diane Meredith and her son, Stephen Gallagher. She was also predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Peggy McCormack. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret Church and a member of The Madison Beach Club. Corinne loved living in Madison and spending every sunny day at The Madison Beach Club with her many friends. She was also a huge movie fan, loved reading, and going to the theater. “Coco” as her family and friends called her, was admired and will be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 11:00 am at St. Margaret Church, 24 Academy Street, Madison, CT. There will be no calling hours.
