Craig T. McPherson, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2020 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his wife, Allison, by his side. Craig was born on February 14, 1976 to Judith P. Huff McPherson (deceased) and Thomas McPherson in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He resided in New Jersey before settling in Madison, Connecticut. He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing as well as the Yale University Business Management Institute. Mr. McPherson was most recently employed at Community Health Services in Hartford, CT as a Senior Accountant. He also was employed for several years at Yale University and was the owner of the Whitney Pit Stop Restaurant in Hamden, CT.
On June 12, 2005 he married the love of his life, Allison Peters McPherson. Craig was a devoted husband, son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He was also a wonderful friend to so many. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his wife and family, and winning big at the casino! He will be most remembered for his devotion to his wife, family and many friends.
In addition to his wife, Allison Peters McPherson, he will be dearly missed by his father, Thomas McPherson, step-mother Mona McPherson of Randolph, NJ; Mother-In-Law, Donna Fitzpatrick and spouse, Shawn Fitzpatrick of Pawtucket, RI; Father-In-Law, John Peters and spouse Dottie Peters of Leesburg, FL; Sister, Heather McPherson Dantec and partner, Ralph Musco; Brothers-In-Law Joshua Peters and spouse Heidi Peters of Easton, MA; J. Matthew Fitzpatrick and fiancée Michelle Grimaldi of Warwick, RI, and Kevin Fitzpatrick of Charlotte, NC. He was also the proud uncle and Godfather to John Peters II and loving uncle to Thomas Dantec and Alex Dantec.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to family and friends for their many acts of kindness during this difficult time. Due to the restrictions secondary to the pandemic, the funeral will be private from the Swan Funeral Home in Madison, CT. A Celebration of Life will be announced when the restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, donations in Craig’s memory to an educational fund for his Godson, John Peters II, has been established.
