Everett "Ted" Thomas Kilbride, Jr. of Madison, Connecticut, the beloved husband of Annette, passed away suddenly on June 9, 2018. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on November 11, 1942 to Everett and Irene Kilbride.

Ted grew up with his family and his extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he received a degree in engineering.

Ted had many interests, and a long and varied career. He served his country by joining the Army Reserve in 1961 thru 1967, as a high-level communications specialist, assigned to Hq. & Hq. Company, 3rd Battalion, 35th Infantry, 187th Infantry Brigade (SEP), where he served with Distinction. He began his IT career at Aetna and later at Storage Tech in Hartford, Connecticut. After many years in the IT industry, he devoted substantial time to his interest in Marine Art. He was also an accomplished sailor, and he and Annette enjoyed their many summer boating adventures around the New England coast aboard the “Everann”, a 38-foot power cruiser.

Ted was married for 37 years to his wife, who along with his family, will miss him dearly. We will remember the warm light and twinkle in his eyes that always preceded a laugh, a joke, a good conversation or a little adventure. Besides his wife, Annette, he is survived by his sister Judith Abair and her husband, Robert, of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and his sister Barbara McGowan, of Bozeman, Montana; nieces Cheryl Verrette and her husband Dennis, and Myla Kelly and her husband Michael; grandnieces Hannah and Madeline; grandnephews Andrew, Miles and Mason; sister-in-law Linda Rickard, of Windsor, Connecticut and her husband Ian, nieces Melissa and Laura and her husband Jeremy and grandniece Iris and grandnephew Julian.
