To The Bagnoli Family:

I was just speaking to my CT. cousin who just informed me of Fazio's passing away. I'd like to express my heartfelt condolences. I recall what an achiever, athlete and outstanding student he was. I see he accomplished a lot and contributed much to mankind. Thanks to God for giving all of you the opportunity to share life with this man. God Bless Mike

Mary Ellen and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Faz's passing. Although we had lost touch in the recent years, I always considered him a good friend and a big part of my life growing up in East Haven. We shared many a good day and good nights as we grew from kids to men over the years. I have so many fond memories of Faz: many surrounding middle school and high school, hanging out at the beach, college break adventures, and family events.

I remember one night in 1973 during Christmas break when we partied and bar hopped in New Haven and ended the night with empty pockets, going back to Faz's house for a late night/early morning breakfast. We walked up the driveway just as Pop Bagnoli, carrying his lunch box and wearing his plaid ear-flapped hat, was exiting. He was shaking his head and muttering under his breath. “You know whata tima this is?" his father asked. Faz hesitated for a minute and smiled saying “yeah, pop, it's time for YOU to go to work!” We all laughed. Faz had a great sense of humor. He was a family man and the most decent guy you could ever hope to meet. He will be sorely missed.

Loren, Kristin & Mike,

We offer our sincere condolences and prayers for your loss. Faz was a great guy who was a joy to work with, whether it be business or youth sports. He was a model to both kids and coaches, and he will be greatly missed. Thanks for that wonderful picture of him.

He was young, just a sophomore at EHHS and fearless. His helmet didn't quite seem to fit but he had a nose for the ball. He worked hard, took pride in his effort, and never quit.

I was so saddened to hear of your loss.

My sincere condolences to the Bagnoli family.
Fazio was a hardnosed kid that worked extra hard at everything he did.
We had alot of laughs at EHHS and together on the football team.
