Dear Nancy, Today I had to tell my mother (Barbara Shull)and father (Roger Shull) about reading of George's passing. Mom had many wonderful things to say about you both. In speaking about your husband, she emphasized "Of all of Rod's friends, I liked George the most". I was SO touched that the Swing Timers was mentioned. Dad is too humble to brag, but I know that playing at Carnegie was an amazing experience for all in this band, their talent something to be immensely proud of. The Swing Timers was noted as "The Band That Rocked Carnegie" and that it "won the hearts of the audience". Without a doubt, George won the hearts of my parents. Jennifer Piccirillo

My time knowing George was short for his life span. I have been in Stan Carver's art class with George and he did have a passion for it. I remember George as a real gentleman to all. I offer my condolences for his passing. Remember the good time and share the sad with God. George Kinser (Old Saybrook, Ct.)
