I was lucky to have known both Bud and Edith and of course Lucy, Ben,Julie and most certainly Jane, the love of my life who shared the same birthday as her Dad. He was so learned, gracious and many other positive words and I will always remember him and Edith as the best possible grandparents a child could have. Zack was very much much in their hearts as they were in his. Even though he was a father-in-law he was like the uncle I never had. Rick

To a beloved dad, friend, inspiration in my life, and an advocate for education and discipline....Dr. Jaffa, I love you ...thank you for making a young girl from Barbados as a member ofyour family." I love you for all you are, and for all of the young or not so young that you have influenced and have changed their lives forever; and for better. May the Angels wrap their arms around you and take you home to rest in peace with you beautiful wife. Thank you for all you have givento me through your advice, and countless other students at NYU. Thanks is not enough...God take you to your next appointments of teaching and mentoring....your Kids/students are waiting for your inspiring words. Lucy, Julie and Ben may you be comforted in your Dad 's and grandad's good work, love and inspiration on earth. Be comforted knowing that his work here on earth is done, but God took another Angel home to lead his nation forward.

God bless Herbert Jafffa.

Love always, Millie
