Mark, Rob and Cheryl, I first met Judy when she worked at Madison Hardware over 34 years ago. I came into the store after my oldest was born needing an item. I placed him all bundled up onto the counter, when your "Mom" just picked him up and began cooing and playing with his fingers and toes. We were friends for life. We compared all the colds, the childhood diseases, first steps, the naughtiness, the silliness, the good and not so fun times of our children, husbands and boyfriends, as well as the many additions and projects to our homes. She is a friend I will truly miss who will stay close to my heart for ever. With loving memories, Chris and Tracy Kyttle, Terry (Kyttle) Duffy.

My condolences to you Cheryl and Rob and Mark.  My mother, Edith Bosworth was Judy's Mom's (Connie Traver's) sister.  I remember three different homes in Pennsylvania where the family and I would visit Judy and Johnny and my Aunt Connie and Uncle Bob at (1) Street Road and Route 611 in Warrington, PA, (2) in Chalfont, PA, and (3) in New Britain, PA.  At Street Road, we kids would walk north on Route 611 about a quarter of a mile to the area roller skating rink to watch the skaters and to play the pinball and other machines.  (2) In Chalfont PA, I remember the two great danes there named Engel and Uhuti (spelling?). Plus a creek just beyond the tree-line in the back yard where you could watch water scooters and tadpoles in the water. In (3) New Britain, PA the Traver's (my aunt and uncle and cousins) had a great farm house and a red barn.  Then, the Traver family moved to Madison, CT, as the number of my Traver cousins grew and grew. Did I miss any locations in-between? And did I get the order right? I was and have always been 7 years older than Judy, so I was the older cousin in most gatherings and visits. My brother, Paul, was four years older still, and seemed to be often into other things when most of these routine family visits would come up  my Mom, myself, and my younger sisters Barbara and Connie. To Judy's Family,   

I knew your Mom from my years of buying "stuff" from her at Tuxis Hardware Store.  I grew up in town. We always chatted about our boat projects and how we would be getting ready to commission or decommission.  During a major renovation of my house in 2008-2009 I swear I was in to see her every day!  We would talk about what she was doing in her house and I loved how her landscaping was progressing.   She was so knowledgable and so darn friendly and I really felt her loss when she had to end her time at Tuxis.  I am pretty tall and I would stand next to this "peanut" of a beautiful lady with her arms crossed in her blue Tuxis shirt and she would advise me on how to do a project.  I was always in the old paint aisle with her!!!   She was invaluable and just seemed to never age!!! I am so sorry for your loss.  She was a wonderful woman and I hope that your memories comfort you.
