Born on October 11, 1961, in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, England, Lynn was the daughter of Phillip and Hedvig Jeffery. She grew up in Trumbull, Connecticut, where she built the foundation of a life centered on kindness, compassion, and deep devotion to family.
Lynn earned her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and began her career as a teacher, a role that reflected her caring nature and love of helping others. In time, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her children, a role that brought her the greatest joy and purpose in life.
She was a loving and dedicated mother to her son, Colin Logemann, and her daughter, Emily Logemann. Lynn shared a close and meaningful bond with both of her children. She and her daughter Emily stayed closely connected while living on opposite coasts, often talking on the phone for hours at a time. Lynn also cherished the time she spent with her son Colin, who lived at home with her, and the everyday moments they were able to share together.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Hedvig and Phillip Jeffery. She is survived by her brother, Paul Jeffery, as well as her beloved children and extended family.
Lynn will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and enduring sense of humor. She had a deep love for the ocean and found peace and happiness at the beach. She enjoyed sailing, taking long walks, watching Jeopardy, and, most of all, spending meaningful time with her children, whom she loved beyond measure.
Her life was a reflection of compassion, kindness, and quiet strength. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026, from 4-7 PM at Swan Funeral Home 825 Boston Post Rd. in Madison, Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynn’s memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or a mental health organization of your choice.
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
Lynn will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
