I loved you, Dr. Mary ♡♡♡ , you really were a second Mother to me! For 2o years every Friday we shared so much. Your joy when Ann & Jim brought you Nigellla, walks where you walked so quickly I could hardly keep up with you, lunches on the Sun porch looking at the wildlife on the Ocean, Your stories of Growing up in Ireland , university in England, you work at The VA hospital, where we discovered you had known and treated my Dad for Lung Cancer before he passed on there. Your love of Art and Literature. Our "Delicious ",lol, Tuna sandwiches during your Chemo trial treatments at Yale, the drug that is now called Keytruda, helping so many people now with prolonging their life. Your scarfing the chocolate mousse & Squash soup in the last few weeks of your life. I will always hear the Irish Lilt in your voice saying"Sweetheart, I love you" . Fly Free among the Stars, Mary. Love you always, Joan B.

I will miss my second mother Mary. Our conversations of our ruling families in Ireland. Our political debate. Our joint love of Joan. Her smile and excited greeting each time I came to visit. Our hugs after the storm ravaged her home. Our shared love of Nigella. Our conversations of her past with Orlando, her work and the issues with modern Doctors. Our lunches out on the porch overlooking the sound and our love of classical music.
Love you Mary, I am glad I was with you holding your hand as you started your trip to Nigella and Orlando. I will miss you "darling"; sending you a high pitched "Bye".
