I’m sitting in my car in Green’s parking lot reading newspaper articles and the obituary about Mike. He always told me I drove like I was gonna pull right into the store when I pulled up for my cleaning. We joked and laughed and I was every time grateful for his conversation - made me feel welcome in the neighborhood when I first arrived. I’m very sorry for your loss. And in a smaller yet significant way, ours too.
I miss his presence here in our neighborhood.

My friendship with Michael began many years ago in a parking lot on a Sunday afternoon cruise to the Norman Rockwell Museum with Club Corvette of CT. Michael pulled out a cleaning rag and began to wipe down his car. Little did I know that this simple act would change my life from a casual corvette enthusiast to a Car Show “junkie”. Michael, you taught me so well that I turned from pupil to your competitor, but the bottom line is NO ONE could clean a car better than you!
Thanks Buddy for all of the good times, I’m going to miss you.
