

Myron L. Patrick, known by friends as “Pat”, passed away peacefully on April 14th at the age of 82 surrounded by his family. Born August 27th 1943 to Raymond and Beulah Patrick in Conway Arkansas. Pat graduated from North Little Rock High school where he excelled at basketball and baseball. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and was sent to Yale University to study linguistics where he met his future wife Janet (Janie)Patrick. During the Vietnam war, Pat used his training from Yale’s Institute of Far Eastern Languages (known as the “Yale Method”) to serve as crew on many reconnaissance missions over the south China sea. Following the war, Pat returned to Connecticut where he married his wife.
Pat worked as a welder and machinist, ending his career as a manufacturing supervisor and inspector at Aerocision in Chester Ct.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved coaching Little League and softball for all 3 of his children as well as his grandson. Pat always had time to take his children fishing and loved spending time with his family. He was a long-time fan of the UCONN Huskies and enjoyed attending many games with friend Jim Leahy as well as family.
He was predeceased in death by his parents Raymond and Beulah Patrick as well as his sister Janice Brashear.
Pat is survived by his wife Janie Patrick of Madison Ct., his daughter Lee Larrick and her children Alexandra and Kaine (Courtney), his sons Frank (Jane) Patrick and his daughter Lauren, Seth (Meagen) Patrick and their children Catherine and Aiden, his Brother Richard (Joyce) Patrick, his sister Linda Glenn, as well as many beloved pets.
The family would like to thank the North Haven Smilow nurses and caregivers whom he affectionately called “His Angels” for always putting a smile on his face through the toughest of times, as well as his Hospice caregivers.
