Patricia A. Schroeder

She was born on August 28, 1933, in Hartford, raised in Ivoryton the daughter of the late Michael and Florine (Chrystal) Carey.

Together with her husband she was an integral part of the former Schroeder’s Garage and The Fin and Shell Seafood Market. She was a member of the first graduating class of Valley Regional High School and former member of the Old Saybrook Racquet Club.

Mrs. Schroeder was the widow of Charles (Bud) Schroeder. She is survived by her sons Thomas and Cynitha of Ivoryton, William of Ft. Pierce, FL. and Keith Schroeder of Clinton. Sisters Rita Potts of Old Saybrook, Mary Lou Tibert of Rockland, ME and Mary Ann Rawlison of Watertown, CT; three grandchildren Carey Moschetti (Nick), Charles Schroeder, Katherine Schroeder and one great grandchild Benjamin Moschetti

A memorial service will be held on December 7th at 5:00pm at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison. A calling hour will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
