Dear Peter, I was very saddened when I heard the news. You were a wonderful friend to me and to Christian. Our lives crossed several times at different places and occasions and I'm so glad they did. I enjoyed our dances and dinners get-togethers with friends. It was a pleasure working with you as well and talking to you about architecture/engineering projects, about music and arts, and just about anything. You're so missed, my friend. My sincere and deepest sympathies to your family, friends and loved ones.

Peter and my son, Wael, went to Yale together. I met Peter in New Haven and immediately felt he was like a son to us.

He and Wael surprised me in January 2007, on my birthday, by flying to Abu Dhabi for a few days. We had such a great time.

It hurt me deeply when I found out what had happened. We love him very much and I wish the Kohn family all the strength in the world. Our family is fortunate to have known him and we will always consider him as our son and a member of the family.

We miss you Peter.
