Mr. Mirando was born on January 29, 1939 in New Haven, CT to Ralph Joseph and Elizabeth Onofrio Mirando.
Mr. Mirando was the proud father of three sons. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Mirando (Michele) of Madison and Steven Mirando (Susan) of Bellingham, MA; as well as his sister Eileen Coppola (Paul) of Madison. He is predeceased by his son, Mark Mirando.
Ralph was a graduate of Hill House High School and he attended the University of New Haven. He served in the US Army. He achieved the position of Director of Industrial Engineering for Sony Music. After retirement he served as the innkeeper at Madison’s Scranton Seahorse Inn.
Ralph was a lover of music and played the keyboard both privately and professionally for most of his life. Everyone who met Ralph will remember him for his unwavering sense of humor and entertaining stories. He had a deep love of family and a strong connection to friends. He was an amazing grandfather of 7 and the great grandfather of 2. He took great joy in spending time with them and was always proud of their accomplishments.

A hour of visitation will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 12:00PM until 1:00PM at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison, CT. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 1:00PM in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
