Robert E Hone III

He was a graduate of Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Class of 1988. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University in 1994. Rob was a Fine Wine and Beverage Representative for over twenty years.

He lived in Colorado for several years before moving back to Connecticut where he enjoyed his love for the outdoors. He had a passion for boating on Long Island Sound and enjoyed hiking and skiing with his family.

Rob lived his life fully. He had a special love for music, the mountains and playing guitar. He was a loyal friend and a loving father, uncle, son and brother.

He is survived by his parents, his beloved daughter, Makayla Hone and her mother, Melissa Dirzius of Wallingford, his loving life partner Rose Levy, his sister Megan Day and husband Todd, and their children, Reese and Maggie Day of Colorado and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will be receiving guests on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 3-7pm at Swan Funeral Home 825 Boston Post Rd Madison CT, 06443. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday October 23, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Margaret’s Church 24 Academy St. Madison CT, 06443.
