Selby Pinney

Selby T. Pinney, age 59, passed to eternal life on August 13, 2013 after his long battle with cancer. He grew up in Windsor, CT, was active in baseball, and earned his Eagle Scout Award. Selby had a distinguished career with AT&T for 29 years, residing in Madison, CT. He leaves his wife of 36 years, Carole (Dzanis) Pinney, his two daughters Loryn Pinney of Luperon, Dominican Republic, Chandon, and her husband Moises Rodriguez of Miami, FL. He also leaves his mother and father, Dorothy and Allen Pinney, his brother Edward, and sister Barbara, as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Selby will be remembered by his family and friends as a wonderful cook and will always be in their hearts.

Visitation hours will be Friday, Aug. 16, from 5 to 8 PM at Swan Funeral Home in Madison, CT. A memorial service will be held on Sat. Aug. 17, at 11 AM at Christ Chapel, 1185 Durham Rd, Madison. Friends may leave an online condolence by visiting www.swanfuneralhomemadison.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Smilow Cancer Center of Yale New Haven Hospital.
