Thomas David Bazar

Thomas David Bazar, 68, a long time resident of Madison, died suddenly on September 16, 2012. Tom was devoted to his family and his many friends. He was a graduate of The University of Hartford and served in the United States Army and Army Reserves. Tom retired from the IT department of SNET Co. after 32 years employment. Tom loved tennis, golf, fishing and boating, particularly in his retirement years. Tom is survived by his daughter Kimberly Bazar, son in law Joon Yun, grandsons, Jeremy and Eric of Menlo Park, CA, longtime companion, Ceci Moffitt of Guilford, CT, brother Edmund Bazar of Atlanta, GA, niece Cheryl Allegri of Roswell, GA, nephew Matthew Bazar of S. Ridings, VA, and cousin Father Peter Sobiecki of New Britain, CT. Visiting hours for Tom will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 21, 2012 at St. Margaret Church in Madison at 11am. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain. A gathering in celebration of Tom's life will be held at his second home in Old Saybrook at 5 Sheffield Cove Rd at 4pm on Friday, September 21, 2012.
