Vincent proudly grew up in North Haven, CT, where he graduated in 1975. He attended Quinnipiac University, graduating in 1979 with a BS in Accounting.
Vincent lived in Florida for nearly 40 years, raising his family and running his accounting and real estate businesses for over three decades. He was deeply proud of his work and simply hated taking a day off—yet no matter how busy he was, he always made time to be in the stands watching his grandson play hockey.
Vincent had a vibrant spirit and was always up for a new adventure. He possessed a warmth, humor, and easy energy that made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Vincent is survived by his two children, Philip (Lisa) Balletto and Catherine (Jerry) Martin, and his six loving grandchildren: Leah, Connor, Grayson, Laci, Lora, and Savannah.
He is also survived by his two sisters, Paula (Michael) Marak and Patti LeQuire (Joe Rosabianca), many loving nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends.
Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Phil and Grace Balletto, his brother Philip, and his best friend Kenny Norup.
Vinnie loved his roots in North Haven and came "home" for his final days, surrounded by the lifelong memories of the town where he grew up.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on August 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Hamden, CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Diabetes Association in his memory.
