William Griebsch, 80, of Guilford, CT passed away unexpectedly January 6 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Griebsch. He has four children - Eddie Griebsch of Melbourne, FL; Melinda Bloom of Otego, NY; Stacey Griebsch of Durham, CT; and Edye Griebsch of Guilford, CT. He has four grand children - Earl Bloom Jr., Kim Lawton, Shawn Griebsch, Nicole Griebsch, Taylor Proto, and Nicholas Proto. He also has four great grand children - Josh Lawton, Kylie Lawton, Mason Wells, and Zeth Griebsch. He was a navy veteran and spent most of his life as a carpenter. He moved back to Connecticut 3 months ago after retiring to Titusville, FL 20 years ago. He was loved by all his friends and family and will be missed. Funeral Services will be conducted January 11 at 12:30 at the Veterans Cemetary, 317 Bow Lane in Middletown, CT.
