Winifred (Wini) Boudreau Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Winifred "Wini" Boudreau, a remarkable woman whose strength, grace, and unwavering love left a lasting imprint on everyone she met. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, surrounded by her husband and her five daughters. Wini was born on March 20, 1940, in New Haven, Connecticut, to Andrew & Rose Tullock; she was the younger sister of Gwendolyn Morgan. Wini later moved to Texas, California, Indiana, and Michigan, where she spent most of her life. This past November, she and Jack moved back to Connecticut to be close to family.
Wini leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, John (Jack) Boudreau, and was the proud mother of Michelle Boudreau and Andréa Yakima (Mike). She was also a cherished stepmother to Deborah Reed, Jacqueline Kearney (Billy Morris), and Renee Pallenberg (Carvin). Her greatest joy came from her large, loving family. She was a treasured grandmother to Justin, Ashley, Maverick, Mia, Bryson, Cooper, and Riley, and a doting great-grandmother to Christopher, Alex, Owen, Isla, Maverick, Magnus, and Malakye.
Wini led an extraordinary life, marked by resilience, compassion, and accomplishment. She built a successful career as a financial advisor with MetLife, where she not only excelled professionally but also earned numerous awards and trips in recognition of her achievements. Her intelligence, work ethic, and dedication earned the admiration of clients and colleagues alike.
After retiring, Wini embraced the next chapter of her life with joy and generosity. She poured her heart into caring for her grandchildren, baking, traveling, knitting, and volunteering at Kirk in the Hills, where her faith and sense of community continued to shine.
Above all, Wini was defined by her love for her family. She was their constant—always supportive, always proud, always present. Her warmth, wisdom, and fierce devotion will be missed more than words can express.
Wini leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and grace. While our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.
Wini was deeply involved in outreach and mission work through Kirk in the Hills, a community close to her heart. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kirk in the Hills Outreach and Mission (1340 West Long Lake Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302), in loving memory of Wini Boudreau.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at Swan Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, from 5-7 pm. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd, at the First Congregational Church of Madison at 11 am.
