Alex was a devoted husband to Danielle and a proud and loving father to Eleanora Rose and Santiago Alex. He was also a dog dad to his beloved Millie. He is survived by his mother Leticia (David) Martinez; his siblings, Dany (Cara) Lara, and JR (Mia) Habib; his brother-in-law, Drew (Alyssa) Durant, and his in-laws, Debbie and Dale. He was a proud uncle to Lorenzo and a nephew to many aunts and uncles. Loving grandson to the late Juan and the late Maria Cruz Lara as well as Debbie Belmont and Rose Walker. Alex leaves behind many dear friends, coworkers, and cousins who will deeply miss him. He is preceded in death by his father, Basim Habib.
Alex was known for his big personality, quick wit, and infectious sense of humor. He had a natural confidence that made everyone feel welcome and at ease. A people person through and through, Alex could light up any room, especially when holding a microphone for karaoke, hitting the blackjack or poker tables, or cutting up the dance floor at weddings. He loved to golf, be spontaneous, and live life to the fullest.
Above all, Alex was a family man. He worked hard to support and care for those he loved and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His love, generosity, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
