Antoinette Marie Beaver

Antoinette Marie Beaver passed on September 2, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born on the reservation, Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg (Algonquin) in Maniwaki, Quebec to the late Elie and Helene Chausse on October 7, 1940.

Antoinette was a devoted mother, loving family member, and a caring presence in the lives of those around her. Antoinette lived for her children and her family, who were always at the center of her world. She was deeply involved in her community and generously gave to others. Antoinette volunteered at St. John for 10+ years and worked as a caregiver, always finding ways to help and care for those in need. Her compassion and willingness to serve others touched many lives. A woman of strong faith, Antoinette carried her faith with her throughout her life. She will be remembered for her love of family, her caring heart, her devotion to her community, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and generosity.

Beloved mother to Anjanette (Jason) Glass, Stephanie Beaver and David (Laura Rice) Beaver; cherished grandmother to Michael (Jessica) Beaver, David Kinsch, Melissa DeWolf, Camiel (Shantel) DeWolf, Antoinette DeWolf, Luke DeWolf, Kylie Rice, Cecilia Beaver, Gabriella Beaver and Delilah Beaver; dearest great-grandmother to Trenton Finley, Nadia DeWolf, Sabrina Junttila, Madeleine Beaver, Francesca Beaver, Elie Beaver, Olivia DeWolf, Anthony DeWolf, Dominik DeWolf, Gianna DeWolf, Santino DeWolf and Angelo DeWolf; Loving sister to Lucien.

Antoinette is preceded in death by her siblings, May, Josephine, Jeannette, Alphonse, Jean Louis, Raoul, Tom, Jim, and Carmel.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:30 AM, until the time of the memorial mass at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret of Scotland, 21201 E. 13 Mile Rd., St. Clair Shores, MI 48082.
