Carolyn Bess

Carolyn was a devoted wife to the Late Clint Bess before his passing in 2016; dearest mother to Brian (Sue) Bess, Lorie (Ken) Bays, Larry (Tammy) Bess, and Steve (Judy) Bess; Loving grandmother to Kelly (Crystal) Peace, Kristy Ratliff, Jenelle (Jason) Thienel, Brandon Bess, Wayne (Kelly) Bess, Clint (Courtney) Bess and the late Christopher Patton; cherished great-grandmother to Isabelle, Carson, Alyssa, Briann, Vanessa, Callie, and Baby Boy Bess; beloved sister to Kathryn (Gary) Epperson, Nancy Conner, the late Jimmy Conner, the late Jerry Conner, the late Shirley Widmer, the late Linda Taylor, and the late Judy Harville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.

The family will greet guests Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, 30351 Dequindre Rd., Madison Heights, Michigan 48071

Immediately following the funeral service, committal prayers with interment will be held at Oakview Cemetery, 1032 N Main St, Royal Oak, MI 48067.
