Charles J. Trendler age 92 a long time resident of Madison Heights, Michigan a veteran of World War 2 Combat Veteran (Army) passed away Monday, June 2, 2014. Charles was born January 8, 1922 in Owendale, Michigan, husband of the late Josephine. Dear father of Ron (Gail) Trendler, Rick (Cindy) Trendler, Deanna (Paul) Andre and Raymond (Sharon) Skerski. Dear companion of Stephanie Drake, also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Charles was predeceased by a grandson, brother of John Trendler and the late Michael Trendler. "Charlie" served several years on the Madison Heights Senior Citizens Advisory Commission and was a long time member of the Detroit Rose Society, he was also active for many years with the Holy Cross National Church community in Hamtramck, Michigan.Visitation will be held on Friday June 6, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service 7:30 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan 48071.
