My sincere condolences to the  Family, I was in the same Graduating class, a lot of good times with Cheryl and Dawn Ballard! So vividly remember her laugh!! Many good memories, I thought of her often after we Graduated, no words to ease your sadness but memories will always keep her close in Heart!

I have to share one of my favorite memories of Cheryl. 

Donna, Cheryl and I worked the midnight shift at the Landmark  restaurant in the early 70s. We had so much fun and did all kinds of crazy stuff, from wearing crazy outfits and yes, once in a while coming in a little drunk. 
I remember one Halloween we decided to dress up as always. This year the three of us decided that we were going to dress up as old lady housewives and be mean to the customers. We went to the thrift stores and got old nightgowns and robes and fuzzy slippers and  padded ourselves with pillow stuffing so we looked chunky. We rolled nylons below our knees and put our hair up in sponge curlers and ratted the rest of it; of course we put cold cream on our face and smudged eyeliner under our eyes.  

We walked around all night with a coffee pot insulting the customers. They loved it.  It was our own comedy show.

My dad worked at GM and all of his GM buddies used to stop in the morning and have breakfast before they went to work. They started coming in around 5:30AM. I remember a couple of them came walking in and we walked over to give them coffee and they said “we come in every morning to see your beautiful faces, and dear God, you look like what we just left at home“. 

It was one of the best and most lucrative nights we ever worked.

My sympathy and condolences to Pam,  Johnnie and family.  Cheryl was part of our Edward Street family and we are all sorry to hear of her passing.  I’m  sad that she is gone so soon, but I'm glad that she is at peace.

My Aunt Cheryl was a huge part of me and my brother Matt's lives growing up. Her and my mom were close she would stay at our house for weeks out of the year and go on vacations with us up north. She would even watch us over at her apartment. She was always laughing and trying to brighten up everyone's day. She was a jokester and a prankster and she loved life. She has her struggles but when she was right she was a blast to be around. I will always miss her I can rest easy now that I know she is with my parents having a blast up in heaven. Until we meet again, I love you. Your nephew Vinnie.

Cheryl was a sweet, kind, wonderful person who was fun to be around. Cheryl became part of our family and will be remembered and greatly missed as a sister.

So sorry for your loss. I went to school with Cheryl and remember her well. She could make the worst situations and make them tolerable with silly comments or stories. I believe she was voted our class clown. Always great to talk to. RIP

I will cherish all the memories of Cheryl growing up. She sure did make us laugh! She loved telling stories and jokes. We had the best times growing up together on Edward. Life was hard for her at times, but she always made the best of it. I love you Cheryl!!! Will miss you greatly!
