David Lee Micou age 85, passed away on Wednesday March 9, 2016. David was born August 28, 1930 in Detroit Michigan, David received his pilot license at a early age, David was a lumberjack in his younger years in California, a 50 year member of AA, former volunteer with the Birmingham Fire Department, a veteran of the U.S. Navy. David worked at Saf-Ti Glass Company for many years. Dear father of Jay (Meg) Micou, Judy (Mark) Micou-Phillips, April Schermerhorn, the late Benjamin W. Micou. Loving grandfather of Shannon, Zachary, Noah, Andrew, great grandfather of Gloria,brother of Kate Esterer. Family will receive relatives and friends, Friday March 18th, 2016 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Royal Oak Manor Apartments 606 S. Williams St. Royal Oak, Michigan 48067. Military honors will be held on Monday April 25, 2016, 11:00 a.m. Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road Holly, Michigan 48442.
