Donna will be remembered for the boundless love she shared with her family, the music she brought to the world, and her warm, creative spirit. She was an active member of the Great Lakes Chorus, where her beautiful voice and love of music touched the hearts of many.
A talented seamstress, Donna crafted beautiful pieces with care and precision, and her passion for jewelry-making produced unique and cherished adornments. Her creativity also extended to the kitchen, where she was a wonderful baker. Her cakes and cupcakes were a source of delight at every family gathering. She was most famously known for her colorful and delicious fruit trays. No family gathering, holiday party, or special event was complete without one. Family members and friends looked forward to them eagerly, as they were not just a dessert but a cherished part of their celebrations.
Above all else, Donna cherished her role as a grandmother. She found immense happiness in the lives of her grandchildren, and their bond was one of her greatest joys.
Beloved wife of John for 53 years. Loving mother of Autumn (Miso) Mihajlovski. Proud grandmother of Michael and Alexander. Dearest sister of Gale (Patrick) Riley.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home. Please share a memory with the family on Donna’s online guestbook.
