So many fond memories, I have of you, Donna.  Growing up on Edward Ave. was like having 50 more brothers and sisters in your family.  Thank you for the wonderful childhood we shared.

So many fond memories. Donna was a friend and sister growing up. She will be missed by so many. May we all find comfort in her memories.

Everything I write falls short, seems trite, and cold.  No description of Donna's goodness is adequate.  The pain of losing her is with me every waking moment.  My heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew and loved Donna. Her husband Steve, and her sons Matt and Vinnie, are foremost in my mind.  I wish us peace and faith. Our deepest condolences to Steve, Matt, Vinnie and the Battani and Loftis families on Donna's passing.  Donna was such a lovely person who was so warm, kind, upbeat and fun to be around.  We always enjoyed seeing Donna when we were in Michigan and she will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.  We send our prayers and support to you all.

My heart hurts, my brain hurts, and my soul hurts with the loss of my sister. I just can't imagine not having her to talk to or to visit with. What a loss. I hope there is a better place.

You were truly the best of us. You were a beautiful person. I feel like a part of me has died and I'll never be the same. You were an amazing mother, you loved us unconditionally, you were so selfless. We climbed mountains, watched waterfalls, read books, made costumes, and went on bike rides. I will miss you every second of everyday. On the last days I was crying and you said Vinnie, "I love you more than you'll ever know." I know you're watching over me still mothering. Mom, this is bye for now until we meet again. I love you.

There is an emptiness in my heart that is only filled with the promise that we will meet again. I will miss your laugh and the way you punched me in the arm. You have been a part of my life since I was a boy. You gave me a place to live when I moved back from Ohio and always treated me like a brother. It has been my privilege to know you.

Donna was a great Aunt to have. She was so kind, caring and loving. She made you smile. Donna will be greatly missed. We will always keep the memories. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Uncle Steve, Matt(family) and Vinnie. If you need anything and we mean anything let us know. We love you all.

No words can explain the enormity of loss I feel for my sister-in-law and dear friend.  She was an easy person to talk to, had a unique sense of humor few appreciated - - and I will miss my sarcastic touch-stone. She had an open and giving heart all her life with her family and friends, evidenced by how well she took care of my brother all the years he was ill. She believed in love and would make any sacrifice for those she loved. She and Steve were truly soul-mates. The world is a little sadder place for me now that she is not in it, but I will hold on to the memories, the laughter and the tears and she will be alive in my heart forever.  Love you Donna.
