I was shocked to hear of Helen's death. After trying to call her several times I just by chance checked the obituaries and saw her name.
I first knew Helen when I was a little girl in Detroit in the 1960's. Helen and her father, Heinrich, were friends with my mother and aunt. We moved when I was eleven and we lost touch with them. My mom and Helen and Heinrich ran into each other again in the 80's.
Helen was a good person and loved all animals. I hope Hansy is ok.
God bless you Helen. You are reunited with your father again.

My Aunt Helen Buettner.. We never had the chance to say goodbye to her and I know there are a million things I wish I had been able to say.. I am unable to accurately express my grievances with this loss at the moment and the lifetime of memories are so profoundly strong in my heart ❤️ May the winds of heaven blow softly to your ear and tell you how much we loved you. We will carry you forever in our hearts. I know my Grandparents adored you and you are with them now in heaven as well as with your Father Heinrick.. or to us as we called him “ Mr Buettner”.
. “We’ll meet again some sunny day”. Auf Wiederseh’n Tante Helen .. 💔

Helen was like a daughter to my parents, Stanley and Maria Wrona, a sister to me and a loving Aunt to my daughters. We started as neighbors in Detroit, but became family, not by blood, but by the heart. After not being able to reach Helen by phone repeatedly, we feared the worst. Your kindness, humor and loving thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. We will never forget Helen and her Dad, Heinrick coming over every Sunday all the years our children were growing up. We joked it was like Christmas every time! Our hearts are broken. Sonia, Dave, Tanya or Heinzi, please email, write or call. In deepest sympathy, Ramona, Frank, Crystal, Karoline, Jennifer Lukowski

We are very sorry for your loss. Helen was a very nice, caring person. She was always thoughtful, leaving little gifts or beautiful cards. She loved her pets and always liked to talk about them. We have fond memories of her and she will be missed. May she rest in peace.
