Mom and I spent alot of time together she told me many stories . The one I remember the most was how Mom and Dad met. It was at the Halloween get together the school was having. Dad had his eye on her , she had her eye on him they exchanged names. The dance was over Mom thought she would never see Dad again because the house grandpa Eli Built for her family had no address on it yet . So Dad found out where Mom lived they dated short time later they got married. Mom and Dad had many happy memories together along with having 11 children . They were married over 62 Years until Dad s death.

I remember when uncle Walter and aunt Inez came to visit us in Columbus Ohio. And also another time after I was married they came to my house in Whitehall Ohio and mom and dad was up from Kentucky. Another time I saw them is when we came to visit in Michigan. Unfortunately mom was not with us, she had already passed away. We had a nice visit. Great memories. My condolences go out to the family. First heart felt sympathy. Sorry we were not there to share your pain. Tried often (mail & phone) to contact her.
Aunt Inez was a most loving kind and generous person. She had to have the patients of Job to have raised such a large and loving family. My prayers go out for you all.

God bless you for letting me hang around your feet while you made dinner as in the Bible one fish did feed my family and my neighbors family your smiling you know exactly what I mean. I love you dear woman . To my brother's and sister's it's hard to say goodbye and sometimes hard to say hello I'm sorry I can't be there physically but my heart is there right beside you in spirit on earth and in heaven I love you Janet

One of my favorite memories of grandma is actually one of her favorite memories. She told me once when she was a little girl she wanted a yellow ribbon for her hair. All the girls had yellow ribbons. She asked her dad. Shortly there after her dad brought her a green ribbon. She was dissapointed at first. She told me that she had come to just love the beautiful Kelly green ribbon that her dad picked out special for her. And that Kelly green is her most favorite color because of that. 💚
