Mrs. Janet Marie Landry Boyd Kirby, age 56, passed away November 27, 2009 in Royal Oak. She was born May 16, 1953 in Detroit. She enjoyed crocheting, and relatives said “she was loved by everyone”. Mrs. Kirby is survived by her husband Robert J.; children, Kim (Bill) Waisanen, Bonnie (Sal) Taormina, Connie (Ken) Haskey, Lora (Dave) Boyd, and Kyle; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sibling Diane (Chuck) LayPort; niece Tiffany, nephew Chad, and many more nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Kary Boyd and her sister Kimberly Landry. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights, MI. 48071. Visitation at the funeral home Sunday 5-8:00 p.m., Monday 2-8:00 p.m. Burial at East Lawn Cemetery, Lake Orion, Mich.
