Jeanette met her husband, Richard, married and settled in the Warren, Michigan area where they raised their children. They lived in Michigan until retiring permanently to the Silver Springs, Florida area years ago.
Jeanette was known for her culinary delights and her famous “Lemon Cake”, a favorite of her grandchildren. Jeanette loved to read a good mystery or action thriller, as well as her many devotional books and her well-read bible. She loved to work crossword puzzles and Mensa were her favorite ones.
Many have known Jeanette’s sweet smile and kind gentle soul. She touched so many lives. In the late 1960’s, Jeanette was invited to Warren Assembly of God church by a neighbor. As a result of the invitation, Jeanette attended the church and accepted Christ as her Savior. She never looked back. Jeanette volunteered at the church in the girl’s group and ladies' ministries. After retiring to Florida with her husband Richard, she made Forest Assembly of God in Silver Springs her church home. She is greatly loved by the congregation there.
Jeanette never wavered from her faith. She loved to talk about spiritual things and she loved to talk about God. As her health declined, she often said she was not worried and that she was ready to go. Heaven was her destination and her joy to look forward to.
