I have great memories of hanging out with John as elementary school buddies.  John had a great sense of humor that always resulted in laughs and good times.  He is at peace now and will be missed and always remembered by all who knew him.  I send my condolences to Don, Ernie and family.

I will always remember our beloved JP's spirit for the LHS Class of 1982. Especially when he would snap photos during homecoming. I'm sure he will be sharing some pickle jokes with the angels. RIP JP. 

So sorry! I lived down the street on Dulong. Even though he was a little older than me, I knew John a bit when I had a Free Press route in 8th grade. He mentored me and told me to watch out for high school boys, who only want one thing. Thanks for looking out for me.

Even though you have been through so many surgeries and hospital stays, you were always kind and caring. A gentle soul. 
Now you are pain free and whole again. Rest in peace with your favorite comic book  

We may have been miles apart but you have a special place in my heart my friend.  Will miss your calls and messages but know you are finally at peace and pain free.   You finally made it home.  RIP 

John and I served together in the Navy aboard the USS Gary . We affectionately called him the Big Dill . His laugh was infectious . More importantly he was a friend, May God Comfort his family .  The Big Dill will be missed.

Thought we never met personally, but threw social media.  I knew you were a gentle, kind soul.  Having a husband that was a Navy man also only made us feel more connected. First and foremost, thank you for serving our country brother. I hope you have found peace. I remember following along on your paper route with you, talking about just about anything and everything, even filling in for you a couple of times. As with most we lost touch after school.
